Disclaimer

Please read this first!
MedLyre is a study blog for learning only. Nothing here is medical advice, a diagnosis or a treatment plan. If you are a patient, please see a qualified doctor or physiotherapist. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services right away (in India, call 112).

This Disclaimer applies to everything published on the MedLyre website (MedLyre). By using this website, you agree to read the content with the understanding described below.

Who writes this blog

MedLyre is written by Raushan Kumar, a BPT (Bachelor of Physiotherapy) student at Bihar University of Health Sciences, Patna, Bihar, India. I'm a student. I'm not a doctor, not a licensed physiotherapist and not a medical professional. You can read more on the About page.

Educational purpose only

Everything on this website is written to help students understand topics such as electrotherapy, exercise therapy, anatomy, physiology, medicine and pharmacology. The posts are overviews meant for learning. They are not a guide for treating any person.

No medical advice

The content on MedLyre is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Reading a post here does not create a doctor-patient or therapist-patient relationship between you and me.

  • Do not use this website to diagnose or treat any health condition.
  • Do not start, stop or change any treatment, exercise or medicine because of something you read here.
  • Always ask a qualified doctor or physiotherapist about your own situation.

I don't give personal medical advice through the contact form, email or comments, and I'm not able to answer questions about individual patients.

Accuracy of information

I try hard to keep the information correct. I check each post against my textbooks, trusted online sources and my teachers, and I list the sources at the end of the post. Still, I'm a student, and mistakes can happen. Medical knowledge also changes over time, so a post may become outdated.

Books, universities and countries sometimes teach the same topic in different ways, for example in classifications, numbers or lists. For your exams, please follow your own syllabus, textbooks and teachers. MedLyre does not guarantee any exam result.

If you find a mistake, please tell me at medlyre.blog@gmail.com or on the Contact page, and I will check and correct it.

How the content is made

I may use digital tools, including AI tools, to help me research, organise and edit my writing. I'm responsible for what is published here. I check the facts against sources before a post goes live, and I don't publish anything I haven't reviewed.

Advertising

MedLyre may show ads, including ads served by Google AdSense. The ads are shown automatically, and I don't choose or personally endorse the products or services they promote. Seeing an ad on this site doesn't mean that I recommend it. You can read more on how ads and cookies work in the Privacy Policy.

External links

Some posts link to other websites, such as the sources I used. I don't control those websites and I'm not responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices. A link does not mean I agree with everything on that site.

Use at your own risk

You use the information on this website at your own risk. To the extent allowed by law, I'm not responsible for any loss, injury or harm that comes from using or relying on the content of this blog.

Changes to this Disclaimer

I may update this Disclaimer from time to time. When I do, I will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
