Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information MedLyre collects when you visit this website, how it is used, and what choices you have. I've tried to write it in plain language so that anyone can understand it.

Who runs this website

MedLyre (this website) is a study blog run by Raushan Kumar, a BPT student from Bihar, India. If you have any question about this policy, you can email me at medlyre.blog@gmail.com or use the Contact page.

Information I collect

  1. Information you give me. If you use the contact form or send me an email, I receive your name, your email address and your message. I use this only to read and reply to you, and to improve the blog. If you leave a comment on a post, your comment and the name you choose to show will be public.
  2. Information collected automatically. Like most websites, this site may automatically receive technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you open, and the date and time of your visit. This is mostly handled by the platform that hosts the site and by the tools described below.

Please do not send medical details.
MedLyre is an educational blog. Please do not send personal health information, reports or prescriptions through the contact form or email. I cannot give medical advice.

Where this website is hosted

MedLyre is hosted on Blogger, a service run by Google. Google may collect and process data when you visit pages on Blogger, in line with Google's Privacy Policy. Blogger may also show a cookie notice to visitors from some regions.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website saves on your device. They help a site remember things, such as your display preferences, and help measure how a site is used. You can control or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block cookies, some parts of the site may not work as expected.

Advertising and Google AdSense

MedLyre may show ads served by Google AdSense and other third-party partners. Here is how that works:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this website or other websites.
  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
  • Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use web beacons (small images used to count visits) or similar technologies to collect information when ads are displayed.

You can choose how your data is used for personalised ads:

  • Opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting www.aboutads.info.
  • Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services on this Google page.

I don't control the cookies set by third parties, and I don't receive your personal information from advertisers. Each advertiser has its own privacy policy.

Analytics

I may use tools such as Google Search Console or Google Analytics to understand which pages are read and how people find the site. These tools may use cookies and show me information like pages visited, general location (country or city level) and device type. I use this only to improve the blog, and I don't try to identify individual visitors.

Links to other websites

Posts may link to outside websites, for example the sources I used. I have no control over those sites and I'm not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies when you visit them.

Children's privacy

MedLyre is written for students and is not directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please email me and I will delete it.

How I protect and keep your information

I only keep your name, email and message for as long as I need them to reply to you or to look into a correction you reported. I don't sell your personal information. No website or email is completely secure, so I can't promise absolute security, but I take care to keep the information I receive private.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me to tell you what information of yours I hold, to correct it, or to delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under your local data protection laws. To make a request, email me at medlyre.blog@gmail.com. I will do my best to reply and act on it in a reasonable time.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time, for example when I add new tools or when the law changes. When I do, I will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Please check back now and then.
